HappyFiles PRO organizes media, posts, pages, custom post types, and plugins into folders. This WordPress media library organizer adds a folder sidebar to supported administration screens, helping editors group content by client, project, subject, or campaign.
Its WordPress media folders support nested structures and drag-and-drop organization. A team maintaining many product images can separate collections into manageable groups while keeping those files available through the normal media library. This WordPress plugin also supports folder-based image galleries.
Organize Files and Reuse Collections
- Flexible folders: create unlimited folders and subfolders, assign files to multiple folders, and move selections individually or in bulk.
- File management: rename files manually, from their media titles, or using image metadata on upload. Custom ordering lets you arrange items within a folder.
- WordPress folder gallery: display selected collections through a shortcode, Gutenberg block, or Bricks element, with a lightbox and responsive column controls.
- SVG handling: enable SVG uploads with sanitization and previews. Folder-management permissions can be limited by user role.
Additional controls include folder colors, folder-structure import and export, and downloads of folder contents. These are useful when the same organizational structure needs to be reused across projects.
File-path note: assigning items to folders uses database categorization rather than moving files into physical server directories. File renaming is a separate action.
