This Download Policy explains the terms that apply to downloading digital products purchased through WP License Pro, including WordPress plugins, themes, WooCommerce extensions, and other downloadable products.

By purchasing and downloading a product from WP License Pro, you agree to comply with this policy.

1. Official Product Files

Every eligible plugin, theme, WooCommerce extension, or other downloadable product purchased through WP License Pro includes an installation file for that product.

The files provided by WP License Pro are original product files obtained from the official developer source. We do not intentionally modify the original product files provided for download.

The downloadable file is provided to the customer who purchased the applicable product.

2. Download Access

After purchasing a product, the customer receives access to its downloadable installation file through their WP License Pro account or the download method provided with the order.

The purchased file remains available for the customer to download again when needed, subject to this Download Policy and the continued availability of the customer’s account and download access.

There is no requirement to download the file immediately after purchase. Customers may download their purchased files at a later time when needed.

3. Installation Files and Product Updates

The downloadable file provided with the purchase is the original installation file made available for that product.

The original installation file remains available for download, while subsequent product updates are delivered through the original developer’s update system after license activation, where supported by the product and included in the purchased license.

This means that the downloadable file stored in the customer’s WP License Pro account does not necessarily represent the latest version released by the developer at all times.

After the product is installed and successfully activated, eligible updates may be delivered directly through WordPress or through another update method provided by the original developer.

Update availability and duration depend on the license terms of the individual product purchased.

4. Download Access and License Activation Are Separate

Access to a downloadable product file and license activation are separate parts of the service.

Downloading or possessing the installation file does not provide the customer with unlimited license activations, unlimited websites, or additional activation rights.

License activation remains subject to the activation quantity, website limits, transfer allowance, license duration, and other conditions applicable to the customer’s purchase.

5. Personal Download Access

Download access is provided exclusively to the customer account that purchased the product.

The customer may download the purchased file when reasonably necessary for installation, backup, reinstallation, or other legitimate use associated with their purchase.

Download access is personal to the purchasing customer and may not be transferred, shared, sold, assigned, or made available to another person or account.

6. Sharing Product Files Is Prohibited

Customers are not permitted to share, publish, upload, distribute, resell, transfer, or otherwise make the product files downloaded from WP License Pro available to third parties.

This includes, but is not limited to:

Uploading purchased files to public or private file-sharing websites;
Publishing files on forums, communities, social media, groups, or other websites;
Sending purchased files to individuals who did not purchase the product;
Reselling or redistributing files obtained through a WP License Pro account;
Making purchased files available as part of another download service, membership, repository, or similar distribution system.

The customer’s download access is intended solely for use in connection with the product they purchased and does not include permission to redistribute WP License Pro’s provided download access or files.

7. Download Links Must Not Be Shared

Any download link provided by WP License Pro is intended exclusively for the customer and order for which it was generated.

Customers must not publish, share, forward, sell, distribute, or otherwise provide their download links to another person.

Where technically applicable, download links may contain identifiers, security tokens, account information, or other mechanisms used to protect and manage access to purchased files.

Any attempt to bypass these protections or provide unauthorized access to another person is prohibited.

8. Fair Use of Download Access

WP License Pro allows customers to re-download legitimately purchased files when needed.

However, unlimited or long-term availability of a download does not mean that download access may be used for automated, excessive, abusive, or redistribution-related activity.

Download activity should remain consistent with the reasonable use of products purchased by an individual customer.

Examples of activity that may be considered abusive include repeated automated downloads, unusually high download activity without a reasonable purpose, attempts to systematically retrieve files, or activity indicating that download access is being shared with other people.

9. Monitoring and Download Security

WP License Pro may use reasonable technical and security measures to protect downloadable products and detect unauthorized sharing, automated downloading, excessive activity, or abuse of download access.

These measures may include monitoring download activity associated with an account, order, file, or download link.

Such measures are intended to protect our services and prevent unauthorized distribution or misuse.

10. Suspension of Download Access

If WP License Pro reasonably determines that a download link, product file, or customer account is being used in violation of this policy, we may temporarily or permanently restrict the affected download access.

Serious or repeated violations may result in additional restrictions on the customer’s account.

Examples include confirmed sharing of download links, redistribution of files, automated mass downloading, attempts to bypass download restrictions, or providing unauthorized third parties with access to purchased downloads.

Where appropriate, WP License Pro may review the circumstances before applying permanent account-level restrictions.

11. Account Security

Customers are responsible for maintaining the security of their WP License Pro account and login credentials.

Customers should not provide their account password or account access to third parties for the purpose of obtaining purchased downloads.

If a customer believes that their account or download link has been accessed without authorization, they should contact WP License Pro support as soon as possible so that we can review the issue.

12. Product Availability

WP License Pro aims to keep purchased installation files available to customers according to the terms of their purchase.

However, availability may occasionally be affected by technical maintenance, security issues, storage or infrastructure problems, developer-related changes, legal requirements, discontinuation of a product, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Temporary unavailability of a download does not necessarily mean that the customer’s license activation has been terminated.

Customers experiencing difficulty accessing a purchased file should contact our support team.

13. Third-Party Developer Changes

Products available through WP License Pro are developed and maintained by independent third-party developers.

A developer may change, discontinue, replace, rename, restrict, or otherwise modify a product or its distribution and update systems.

WP License Pro does not control these decisions.

Where such a change affects a customer’s purchased download or update availability, we will make reasonable efforts to review the situation and provide an available solution where possible.

14. No Transfer of Developer Accounts or Credentials

Providing a downloadable product file does not transfer ownership or access to WP License Pro’s developer accounts, subscriptions, license keys, account credentials, or other private licensing information.

Download access applies only to the product file made available to the customer.

Any applicable license activation remains governed separately by our License Activation Policy.

15. Misuse and Circumvention

Customers must not attempt to manipulate download URLs, security tokens, account permissions, technical restrictions, or other mechanisms used to control access to downloadable products.

Customers must also not use scripts, bots, download managers configured for excessive automated requests, scraping tools, or similar automated methods to systematically download or reproduce content from WP License Pro.

Activity intended to circumvent normal download access or facilitate unauthorized redistribution may result in immediate restriction of the affected download access.

16. Changes to This Policy

WP License Pro may update this Download Policy when necessary to reflect changes to our download system, security practices, services, product delivery methods, or operational requirements.

Any updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Changes to this policy do not retroactively remove the specific material download rights expressly included with an existing purchase, except where restrictions are reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, prevention of abuse, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
