The addon provides claim forms, review controls and ownership indicators for a directory that accepts contributions from the public. GeoDirectory claim listings workflows help administrators handle business listing claims consistently while keeping approval decisions under their control.
Directory Features
- Claim forms: Add a claim button through a block, widget or shortcode. Ninja Forms integration supports customized claim forms.
- Approval controls: Administrators can approve, reject or undo claims. Supported automated workflows include email verification and payment-based approval.
- Notifications: Send configurable messages to owners and administrators as a request moves through the process.
- Ownership indicators: Display verified business listings with a badge or use the claimed field for sorting. Search filtering requires the separate Advanced Search addon.

Open GeoDirectory > Settings > Claim Listings > Listing Claims to review requests. You can approve, reject or undo an approved claim. Automatic email verification is a separate configurable option.
How to set up pay-to-claim listings?
Use Pricing Manager to create the packages. In the original package’s advanced settings, select the paid package required for a claim. Visitors then choose that package when requesting ownership.
