Hotel Booking Multi-Currency Pro – MotoPress

Hotel Booking Multi-Currency Pro for Local Price Displays

Hotel Booking Multi-Currency Pro lets visitors view accommodation prices in a currency they recognize. The Hotel Booking multi currency display recalculates property rates and totals after a guest chooses an available currency. It is intended for rental websites serving international travelers who want a clearer view of prices before completing a reservation.

The MotoPress Hotel Booking multi currency add-on requires the parent Hotel Booking plugin, which is separate from this license. It provides a display converter rather than additional payment gateways. Guests are charged in the default currency configured in the booking plugin.

Hotel Booking Currency Switcher and Exchange Settings

• Currency choices: Add the currencies relevant to your visitors. The multi-currency widget lets guests choose their preferred display currency, with options for decimal precision and currency-symbol position.
• Manual exchange rates: Define and maintain the conversion rates yourself. This WordPress currency converter does not retrieve live exchange rates automatically, so displayed conversions depend on the values saved by the administrator.
• Navigation placement: Display currencies in a navigation menu as individual items or a dropdown. The choice can suit a short list of common currencies or a longer set of visitor options.
• Widget areas: Place the hotel currency converter in a widget area supported by the theme and customize its title. The switcher uses the site’s theme styling.
• Booking price breakdown: Selected-currency amounts can appear in accommodation listings and the checkout breakdown. Before payment, the total is converted back to the site’s default currency and the guest receives a notice about the charge currency.

The Hotel Booking currency selection is manual: the extension does not detect a visitor’s country and automatically choose a currency. The default site currency remains in the configuration with a conversion rate of one. These boundaries make Hotel Booking multicurrency display distinct from accepting payments in every displayed currency.

Free vs Pro

Hotel Booking Lite is the separate free booking foundation. The reviewed MotoPress listing presents Multi-Currency as a paid extension and does not identify a free edition of this converter.
