Hotel Booking Payment Request Pro helps accommodation businesses collect payments after a reservation has been made. It extends the MotoPress WordPress hotel booking plugin with emailed payment links, scheduled balance reminders and manual requests for individual bookings. Guests follow the link to a payment page on your website instead of making a new reservation.
Payment Requests and Reminder Controls
- Scheduled balance reminders: Choose how many days before check-in a hotel booking payment reminder should be sent. Automatic messages apply to confirmed reservations; older bookings created before the add-on was activated can receive manual reminders.
- Flexible manual requests: Request the outstanding balance, the configured deposit, a fixed sum or a percentage of the booking total. Balance-due requests support both scheduled and manual sending; custom amounts are handled manually.
- Guest payment links: Send the request by email, open its checkout page for inspection, or copy its link for an individual guest. Payment methods depend on the gateways enabled in the parent booking plugin.
- Editable email templates: Separate templates cover balance, deposit and custom-payment request emails. Booking tags insert relevant stay details and the requested amount, while administrator notifications can go to multiple staff members.
- Booking records: Review sent requests in booking logs and check received payments in the payment history. Requests can be managed separately for each reservation.
MotoPress Payment Request is useful when a property accepts an initial deposit and collects the remainder before arrival. It sends a request for the guest to complete payment; the guest follows the checkout link to make the payment.

After the administrator confirms the booking, a request can be sent immediately from Edit Booking. Alternatively, the configured schedule sends the balance request before arrival.
How do payment requests work after a deposit confirms the booking?
After the deposit confirms the reservation, the addon can email the remaining-balance link at the configured time before arrival. A manual payment link can also be sent for that booking.
Does cancelling a reservation refund its payment automatically?
No. MotoPress says cancellation does not automatically refund a payment. The administrator submits refunds manually through the payment gateway account.
What license, files and updates are included, and is payment one-time?
