Themify Metro Pro combines a tile-based front page with a blog and separate portfolio entries. Its colorful tile layout is useful for creative work, project collections and personal sites that mix several kinds of content. The Metro Pro theme supports WordPress post formats, so media and short updates can sit alongside standard articles.
Metro Pro Theme Tiles and Portfolio Features
- Content tiles: Choose text, button, gallery, image or map tiles. Different tile sizes create a varied arrangement, and individual colors distinguish content without changing the whole site’s palette.
- Interactive tile faces: Image and map tiles can show additional content on their reverse. Gallery tiles use a gallery slider, while a button tile can link visitors to a selected destination.
- Metro Pro portfolio: Organize projects in their own post type and categories. Use a single featured image or a collection of images to represent a project, with accompanying text for context.
- Infinite scroll: Choose automatic loading, a manual Load More button or traditional numbered navigation. This allows the archive’s browsing behavior to match the amount of content.
- Mixed post formats: Publish video, image, gallery, quote, audio, link and status content. The custom panel shows fields relevant to the selected format, keeping media details separate from ordinary article text.
Tiles can be displayed individually, as a chosen group or by category using the theme’s shortcode controls. This lets a homepage show selected projects while another page presents a different collection. Portfolio settings also control image dimensions and the visibility of titles or metadata. Header and footer styling can remain consistent while tile colors provide variety within the content area.
