Simple Social Buttons Pro

Simple Social Buttons Pro – Flexible Social Sharing for WordPress

Simple Social Buttons Pro adds social media share buttons to your website, giving visitors a direct way to share articles, images, and product pages. Choose the networks you want to display, arrange their order, and place the buttons where they fit your content.

This WordPress social share plugin suits blogs, image-rich websites, and online stores. Pro extends the standard inline and sidebar buttons with on-image sharing, popups, fly-in panels, and custom colors. For example, a photography website can place sharing controls over images, while a publisher can display a sharing prompt after a reader scrolls through part of an article.

Place WordPress Social Share Buttons Where They Matter

Display social sharing buttons above or below your content, on both sides of an article, or along the left or right edge of the page. Gutenberg blocks and the [SSB] shortcode provide additional placement options within your layouts.

Supported networks include Facebook, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, WhatsApp, and Reddit. Select the services relevant to your audience and organize their buttons to suit your website.

What Does Simple Social Buttons Pro Add?

• Sharing directly from images: Place buttons over images with configurable positioning and spacing. Choose whether the shared description uses the post title or image alt text. This is useful for portfolios, tutorials, and other visual content.
• Popups with scroll and exit triggers: Display a sharing prompt after visitors reach a selected scroll percentage or when they are about to leave. Add a title and message to explain what you would like readers to share.
• Animated fly-in panels: Show a sharing panel in the bottom-left or bottom-right corner. Adjust its message, button alignment, and animation to fit the page.
• Colors for each display location: Customize button backgrounds, icons, and hover colors. Separate settings let you adapt inline buttons, media overlays, popups, and fly-ins to their surroundings.
• Visibility controls: Choose the post types where buttons appear and hide selected placements on mobile devices. This helps keep sharing controls appropriate for each content layout.

Product Sharing and Share Counts

Add WooCommerce social share buttons above or below product descriptions so customers can share products from your WooCommerce store.

You can also display individual or combined counts. Depending on the network, these use platform-reported data and internal button-click tracking. A recorded click does not necessarily mean a visitor completed a share.

Simple Social Buttons Free vs Pro

The free edition provides the core sharing tools. Pro adds more prominent placements and additional styling controls.

Requirement: Keep Simple Social Buttons Free installed and active alongside Pro. WooCommerce is required only when using the plugin on store product pages.
