WordPress Food Delivery Plugin – MotoPress

WordPress Food Delivery Plugin for Restaurant Delivery and Pickup Orders

WordPress Food Delivery Plugin extends the free MotoPress Restaurant Menu plugin with delivery and collection choices. MotoPress Restaurant Menu Delivery adds these options to the food-order checkout, where customers provide the details needed to prepare and fulfil their order.

Features and Controls

• Delivery or pickup: Enable the fulfilment methods your restaurant actually offers. Pickup settings include the collection address, while delivery orders record the address supplied by the customer.
• Time selection: Let customers choose a delivery or pickup time and define a minimum interval after purchase. This communicates the preparation period through the order form rather than leaving the timing unspecified.
• Delivery pricing: Set a delivery charge or use a zero charge for free delivery. A minimum order value can make an order eligible for free delivery, with the cost shown at checkout.
• Order details: Review customer notes, selected items, address and order amount. Administrators can update menu items in an order when a requested change is agreed with the customer.
• Fulfilment status: Manage orders through the Restaurant Menu dashboard with statuses such as pending, cooking, shipping, complete or failed. A quick order preview exposes the key details needed for processing.

This WordPress food delivery extension requires MotoPress Restaurant Menu. It does not provide a driver fleet, courier tracking or a thermal-printer integration. The documented selector concerns delivery time; a configurable future delivery-date calendar was not verified. Custom geographic delivery-zone validation was also not established in the reviewed materials.

Free vs Pro

The parent Restaurant Menu plugin is free and provides the underlying menu and ordering foundation. This paid add-on supplies delivery and pickup controls. The free parent is a dependency, not a free edition of the Delivery extension, and separate Restaurant Menu add-ons are not included automatically.
