Hotel Booking Messaging Pro for Guest SMS Updates
Hotel Booking Messaging Pro adds SMS communication to MotoPress accommodation reservations. It can send booking SMS notifications to guests, an administrator, or both. MotoPress Hotel Booking Messaging supports automated guest messaging around reservation events and stay dates, along with manual messages for individual booking or payment records.
The developer currently labels this add-on as Beta. MotoPress Hotel Booking is required, and SMS credits are purchased separately. The service connects through a verified email address without requiring a separate account with the underlying SMS provider. Country availability and business verification requirements can affect delivery.
Hotel Booking SMS Triggers and Message Controls
- Reservation events: Send hotel SMS notifications when a booking is placed, confirmed or canceled. Each notification has its own recipient and message settings.
- Online payment messages: A successful instant online payment can trigger a notification for a deposit or full payment. Bank transfers and payment-on-arrival transactions do not trigger this online-payment event.
- Stay-date scheduling: Create check-in SMS reminders or messages a selected number of days before or after check-in or check-out. A timing option can skip reservations made after the configured notification window.
- Property-specific wording: Hotel guest messaging can apply across all accommodation types or only selected properties. Booking tags and accommodation notice fields insert relevant guest, stay and property information.
- Manual communication: Send an active notification from an individual booking or payment when an update cannot be scheduled in advance. Vacation rental SMS messages can therefore cover both routine events and specific changes.
- History and costs: Review message content, sending time, destination, delivery status and credits charged. Credit consumption varies with the country and message segments; test or failed messages may also use credits.
Customer notifications require the guest’s SMS consent at checkout and use the standard booking phone field. Custom phone fields from Checkout Fields are not supported as recipient fields. SMS delivery is not guaranteed.

Why did a customer not receive an SMS?
Check the booking phone number, guest consent and selected recipient. Also confirm the notification is active, the SMS service is connected and credits are available. Review SMS History for the sending result.
Can I send an SMS without an automatic trigger?
Yes. Choose a Manual trigger, then select the active notification from an individual booking or payment record.
Is this a lifetime license with a one-time payment and updates?
Yes. You receive a Lifetime Original License with one payment, original plugin files and automatic updates directly from the developer after activation.
Do you need access to my website for activation?
