Description
WordPress Image Hotspot Addon for Interactive Picture Annotations
WordPress Image Hotspot Addon places animated pointers and explanatory tooltips over pictures in MotoPress Content Editor. MotoPress Image Hotspot suits product illustrations, visual guides and images where individual areas need their own explanation rather than one long caption.
Features and Controls
- Image annotations: Add pointers to the parts of a picture you want to describe. Each hotspot can explain a component, ingredient or location without putting all the information directly into the image file.
- Tooltip content: Create interactive image tooltips and format their descriptions with the visual text editor. Links and supported media can appear within the tooltip, so an annotation can point to further information when needed.
- Display behavior: Choose whether explanations appear on hover, on click or remain visible. The display mode can be selected to suit the illustration and the amount of surrounding content.
- Position and appearance: Place tooltips above, below or beside their hotspots. Adjust pointer and tooltip colors, choose a pointer size, and use inherited styles or customize individual annotations.
- Responsive image hotspots: Hotspot positions use percentage coordinates relative to the image. Their locations adjust as the picture changes size, helping retain the relationship between a pointer and the feature it describes.
The addon requires MotoPress Content Editor and also works with its Lite edition.
WordPress Video Addon adds video slideshows and lightboxes to MotoPress Content Editor, using YouTube, Vimeo or self-hosted video.
