WordPress Video Addon – MotoPress

WordPress Video Addon for Video Slideshows and Lightboxes

WordPress Video Addon adds two media widgets to MotoPress Content Editor: Video Slider and Video Lightbox. MotoPress Video Addon provides a way to present demonstrations, portfolio clips and other recordings within pages built with that editor.

Features and Controls

• WordPress video slider: Combine images and videos in one sequence. The slider can present the media in a selected order, supporting a collection of product demonstrations or project examples.
• Supported video sources: Use YouTube, Vimeo or self-hosted HTML5 video. The source is selected for each video, allowing different media sources within the same presentation.
• Lightbox playback: Display a video thumbnail on the page and open the recording in a popup when visitors click it. A YouTube video lightbox can keep a hosted clip available without giving the player a permanent place in the page layout. This keeps the initial page presentation compact while allowing visitors to choose what to watch.
• Thumbnails and captions: Set a custom thumbnail instead of relying on a default frame. Add a caption that explains the video before a visitor starts playback.
• Playback controls: The slider offers autoplay and slideshow settings, including timing in seconds. Automatic progression can be disabled when visitors should control the pace of the presentation.

MotoPress Content Editor is required. This addon is different from the separate MotoPress Slider plugin and should not be confused with that product’s features. Video files or hosted-video URLs must be supplied by the site owner. Media permissions, external hosting and any related service costs are separate from the plugin license.

Free vs Pro

No separate official free edition of this Video addon was identified. WordPress can embed videos without this purchase, but that basic capability is different from the addon’s combined slider and thumbnail-based lightbox widgets within MotoPress Content Editor. The parent editor is not included as a separate premium license.
